WHO AM I?
My name is Laura Maliszewska. I help intermediate and advanced speakers of English deepen their knowledge and increase their conscious use of English through a systematic, linguistics-based and need-driven approach.
I teach how to think in English instead of translating it, how to speak with the same precision and confidence you have in your first language, and how to build fluency that actually holds up in exams, work, and everyday life.
I’ve been connected to language education and linguistics for 17 years. My career began inside university quality-assurance systems in Poland and in the UK, and today I apply those same standards to the professionals, students, and exam-takers I work with now. Over the past 2 years, I've taught 750+ individual and group students through my programs, and hosted 34 original radio shows on music & linguistics.
In 2025, I was featured in the University of Wrocław’s Institute of English Studies’ 50th Anniversary Jubilee Publication as one of its accomplished alumni, recognized for what I've built across social media, education, linguistics, and language learning. My crosscultural communication work has also been featured in Rzeczpospolita and Gazeta.pl.
I don't teach from a classroom - I test how language actually works in real life. I work with people who use English where it matters to them: at work, in schools, in conversations with friends and strangers, in exams, or building a life in a new country - and want to speak it deliberately, precisely, and for the long run.

HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH WITH THE PRECISION THEY ALREADY HAVE IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE
My mentorship work combines elements that should always go together in the language learning process: understanding the language as a system, improving cross-cultural communication skills, and building real speaking confidence.
We activate speaking: the ability to produce English in real time, under pressure, without freezing or retreating into your first language to plan the sentence before you say it. I guide you through the plateau of “understanding more than speaking”, and show you how to integrate more speaking into your everyday life.
At the same time, we dive into the linguistic layers of English: grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, functional language, and cross-cultural communication. From B1 and B2 levels to C1 and C2, we go through the language structures that support your thoughts in all contexts, while connecting with speakers from all over the word, including native English speakers.
At the foundations of this approach we explore neurolinguistics and neuroplasticity in foreign-language communication: uderstanding how the brain processes, stores, and retrieves a second language, and using that to work with your brain's actual learning mechanisms instead of against them. This is what turns "I studied this rule" into "I can produce this rule instinctively, under pressure, without translating."
Depending on where you're starting from, we also connect this to exam strategy, real-world application — job interviews, moving abroad, professional writing — and how spoken fluency ties back into reading, writing, and listening.
I always loved learning, studying and going to school. I mean it. While other kids and students complained about the workload, the homework, the projects and the assignments, I quietly did the work. Of course, I wasn’t always a perfect student (I even asked my high school Physics teacher to give me the lowest grade once because I didn’t care about Physics that much), but if you asked me two weeks into summer vacation what I wanted to do during my break, my answer was always the same - go back to school as quickly as possible. Being idle bored me. Not learning new things bored me even more.
That’s why, when I started university, I took every class imaginable. I graduated from the University of Wrocław and obtained my Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature, with a minor in Linguistics, Literary Studies and Translation. In the meantime, I completed two courses in Cinema History. I was completely in love with my studies but there was something missing. Even though I loved exploring the world of Linguistics, discussing ideas and literary themes, and translating fascinating articles, I could not fully express myself.
I have always loved traveling - my earliest childhood memories are of me, my brother and my parents driving across Europe to visit my grandparents in France. I also turned my life upside down at some point - I went vegan in September 2016 and became an animal rights activist. I aligned my lifestyle with my values, became a minimalist and took up entrepreneurship. I also taught and mentored other students in English and Linguistics. I always knew I wanted to share my passions with the world and hoped that my life experiences and insights could help other people in similar life situations.
And that’s how my YouTube channel came about (watch here).
As a language mentor, I help learners from all over the world learn languages in their own way that brings their dreams results. My 3 best-selling courses have already helped hundreds of learners worldwide. Learn more about them here
The purpose of my social media platforms is to inspire others to try their best and live their most beautiful lives. To always keep learning, to live intentionally, to travel in their own way, to be vegan and be kind to animals, to discover their purpose on this planet, and to help other people.
Can’t wait to see you on my social media!
I wish you a beautiful day.
Love,
