In Module Four, we’re entering a new stage of fluency in English. You will understand that speech is not just a matter of correct pronunciation - it’s about how it flows. We’ll talk about another aspect of connected speech - assimilation - and we’ll revise two important topics: aspiration and voicing. You'll also learn how to eliminate traces of your native accent when speaking English.

Homework:

1) Keep ut with the practices that work for you.

2) Apply the rules of connected speech when you speak. Remember, it’s all about having fun and getting used to the sounds and the ways in which you can assimilate them.

3) Revise aspiration and voicing.
