Homework:

1) Observe your old patterns that are creeping in when you’re speaking English and practicing your pronunciation:

• are you being kind to yourself and practicing intentionally?

• are you allowing yourself to make progress in your own way?

• or are you still comparing yourself to other learners and speakers?

2) Go back to the sounds or processes that are still a bit difficult for you and be patient with yourself.

3) Mimic and imitate every time you hear a native speaker actually applying a connected speech rule - be it aspiration or vowel lengthening.

4) Reward yourself! You’re doing amazing.
